The closest they came was on November 5 against the Spurs. LA was up by 2 with under a second left, but fouled Champagnie on a last-second attempt. OT looked inevitable…until he missed both free throws.

Meanwhile, the Sixers (4–3) and Rockets (1–6, yikes) lead the league in OT games. The Thunder (4-0) are the most dominant, while the Cavs have played the most OT games without a win (3).

Side note: Champagnie and clutch free throws vs LA teams? Not exactly a great combo.

They do have the best net rating in the clutch (though very small sample size), but don’t really have the most blowout losses unless you really create specific rules (like most 20+ point losses among teams with winning records). The really bad teams have the most blowout losses, like my tanking Wizards who have more than double the blowout losses of the Lakers.
