This game was over, and Maxey had already left for the locker room in this game but thankfully came back later, he shouldn’t have been in this game at this point. Nurse has been running Maxey into the ground all year, and in a game that was over Nurse still wouldnt let Maxey get any rest and this happens.
He’s young, healthy, and playing like a borderline mvp. Stop whining 🛑✋

I feel for Maxey, man. We’ve given him an injured Joel who selectively plays, Paul George (now suspended and barely plays), and Nick Nurse (who is trying to run him so much like he’s Demarco Murray on the Cowboys). Somebody has to step in and tell Nurse to play more guys and develop better.
One of the most brutal impacts from a collision I can remember in recent memory. Maxey’s hand hit Bona’s Knee bone/cap(This is not a pun I swear) full on, then just got fucking blasted and landed directly on the hand that got smashed.
I really hope he’s okay. ATL fans sort of have a soft spot for small guards ever since Trae.
