They will, you are overestimating how competitive international baseball is, there are 20 spots and only 13 baseball countries, if you pay any attention to international baseball,Italy have always been one of the best countries where baseball is not popular(along with Nederland and Australia), they will have zero problem to qualify. However, Israel will be in huge trouble

This is why the WBC is so important imo. The greatest player in baseball history will not be Judge, Ruth, Bonds or Ohtani. It’ll be someone who never even thought about playing baseball until they saw their own country throwing gas and hitting homers on the big stage under the bright lights with the world watching.
