[Injury] Marcus Sasser left ankle injury in his first start of the season
That almost broke
How do we know it didn’t
He is back in the game in 3rd qtr.
Oh that is really good to hear
Because he’s back in the game
Good news!
His tendons and cartilage and shit must be made of literally strong elastic and stretchy rubber. Mine woulda straight snapped right there.
No literally. I fell down some carpeted stairs years ago, got a little airborn, landed with my foot bending inward, and ripped the cartilage off the bone. I…might have blacked out a little, it hurt beyond badly. I was seeing sounds and hearing colors. Ended up needing surgery eventually.
Our entire team desperately needs to wear high tops. I’ve lost count of how many sprained ankles we’ve suffered this season.
There’s no evidence to suggest the high tops reduce the risk of ankle sprains

High tops don’t do shit
This should be downvoted for being wrong as hell
It’s been proven that high tops don’t stop ankle injuries. In the study I linked above, they had 622 athletes with previous ankle injuries across a 2 month intrmural season. During the study there were 15 new ankle injuries. 7 were in high tops, 4 in high tops with additional “protection” and 4 in low tops.
If high tops provided the protection everyone claims they do, 11⁄15 injuries would not have happened to athletes with high top shoes.
They need to strengthen their ankles
“But they don’t look as cool!”
Do they restrict mobility though?
Pretty sure ankle injuries arent great for mobility
Ouch. I’ve done that a few times. He’ll be feeling it for the next week or two
That’s just horrible 😞
Am i tripping is he grabbing the wrong leg?m
Edit: now before i get called things you can see that the right ankle is the one that rolled
