Jaylen speaks on Jayson’s return
is Jaylen Brown being too nice to Jayson Tatum him overcompensating for how much they actually hate each other? up next on First Take and 98.5 the Sports Hub
I don’t honestly think chemistry is a concern because things will just sort of work out naturally based on each of their skill sets and commitment to win, but I think it’s fair to admit that JB didn’t really help things by spending all season claiming he’s the best player in the world, saying the team has had no drop off with him “at the helm” and making a point to say he “sacrificed” in prior seasons and the world is now seeing what he can do.
Downvote me all you want, but that was some insecure bullshit and directly contributed to the “this is JB’s team now and Tatum needs to understand that” nonsense. JB literally was given finals MVP but he still was out here suggesting he’s under appreciated, there was some conspiracy against him, and the team was just as good without Tatum.
I don’t think it will amount to anything on the court since these guys are pros and Tatum is legitimately a top 5 player in the world if healthy, but the way Brown presented things added fuel to the media noise and fans who disagree are in denial about it.

Rational and often accurate ?
No, Pseudo intellectual backhanded comment towards Jaylen. Yes.
I love Jaylen. I genuinely think he’s a top 10 second option in the league.
You’ve definitely been overreacting to this. Brown deserved to have the spotlight for a while and none of what he said was a slight to Tatum, you have just chosen to interpret it that way. He’s never going to be the top guy while Tatum is here, and he made the most of his chance to have that level of attention. Now he will go back to sacrificing, which both he and Tatum have done for years because they want to win more than anything. Who cares about the media? They never give our guys their due.
He gets tons of credit. But he still complains about not getting credit.
He’s had a great season helping the team stay competitive. Very much 94 Pippen, but just like 94 Pippen, Scottie was a bit insecure and spent a lot of time that season pointing out how much he had sacrifice and saying he was proving they didn’t need Jordan.
I think both Tatum and Brown generally do not get the hype they deserve from the national media. I don’t think Brown has come across as insecure, he’s been excited for the team and his role as the highest usage guy on a very successful team that no one expected to be here. I think you are just a bit too defensive of Tatum, which I understand–this fanbase doesn’t seem to consistently acknowledge how great he really is–but it has caused you to take Brown’s comments in the worst way possible.

OK!
In a post where JB only voices positivity and support for JT, ofc larbrd finds a way to spew out his anti-JB campaign. That couple of weeks where you were forced to compliment JB mustve been tough for you huh?
Not anti-JB. Just acknowledging that his comments were bullshit and added to the media narrative.
As I’ve said before, this will work itself out in the wash and he’ll go back to being the sidekick
So many word to say what we know you are going to say
Showed this to ESPN they told me it was AI.
They’re back today breaking these 2 apart.
WHAT IS JAYLEN BROWN HIDING?!?! Why won’t he tell us the truth
He’s so fucking jealous of Jayson’s hairline and you can feel it.
If we play it backwards, will we hear the part where he demands a trade because he doesn’t want to share the spotlight? Because this sounds… suspiciously like Jaylen wanted Jayson to come back and I know that can’t be true. “My brother, my boy.” I just can’t crack the code!
What is this clip from? I’d love to watch more.
Jaylen streams on Twitch occasionally. It was from his stream last night: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2715925811
He actually does quite often. It was funny seeing the notification at 11:30 only like a couple hours after the game ended

This made my eyes watery 🥹 the chemistry within this team is beautiful.

Love both the Js. The whole world trying to break them up but their bond is strong! ☘️
i just love the relationship these two have, they are brothers that were brought together by destiny. they’ve been through it all, and have succeeded like few have. forget about the basketball, it has been an honor seeing these two grow into such fine men. so proud of these two and so glad they represent our team and city. love to them both.
