Also it’s a pretty well established strategy to stop Giannis. Marcus Smart and Derrick White are some of the better examples of guards who have at times been Giannis stoppers

Dyson has been a PG his entire life before coming to the NBA and plays PG for us. He was the primary PG last year when Trae was off the court as well. He is the PG for Australia’s olympic team. Not sure what to tell ya dude.

Yea, he’s washed now. But back when he was in Philly and playing, he was a menace on defence almost being able to guard 1 thru 5, or at least stand his ground vs 5s, and his defense turned into his famous fast break scoring

True, especially since the Bucks can’t pass at all. I think making this particular halftime adjustment the sole thing isn’t the right analysis though. Giannis played about seven minutes in the fourth quarter and the Bucks went from down seven to down 25 in those minutes. Giannis didn’t play well – two turnovers in traffic (I thought the first one should have been a foul, but no biggie; not egregious), and he made some defensive mistakes. The big culprit, though, was Ryan Rollins, who went 0/5, including smoking two layups driving into multiple defenders and missing three threes. Both layups were zero-passes early in the clock, two of the threes were from Rollins/Giannis PnR actions and one was from a Giannis kickout. The Bucks had 14 offensive possessions with Giannis on the floor, and only scored on five of them: two Giannis layups, a Giannis free throw, two Rollins free throws and a Dieng dunk.

I’ll just say I went through the 2nd half because of your post, and all I can say you are deadass wrong.

He had 2 blocks on Giannis, but it was because he helped defense (Onyeka basically made it really hard on Giannis, who got the rebound and scored)

The one who dealt with Giannis times and times again was Onyeka Okongwu (and it was like that also in the 1st half).
