When everyone can cook from 3, one or two guys don’t feel the pressure to be the 3-shooter. that night. At any given time, except for the 5 spot, anyone can drain a 3 with gorgeous form. Not sure what adjective I’d attribute to LaMelo’s but I love it all the same!

As of this moment, the Hornets have the #2, #3, #10, and #47 ranked players in 3-pointers per game on the season, which includes the 25 games or so where we weren’t clicking yet because LaMelo and/or B Mill were out.

It’s not just about how well the Hornets play though, they also need the Cavs to play poorly and the Cavs are 15-5 over the same timespan. The Cavs are also 3-1 against Charlotte this season, so the Hornets would need to win 8 more games than the Cavs (basically requiring the Cavs to be .500ish or worse over the last 19 games of their season) OR hope for a three-way tie that negates Cleveland’s tiebreaker advantage.

Im guessing you mean knicks and celtics? Pistons cant tank lol theyre too far ahead and the hornets are most likely to be 7th or 6th seed so you wouldnt want to even tank to do this if you were the pistons.

And then thats also dumb af because if hornets dont pull the upset over the 2nd seed, then you wont have homefield in the 2nd round as the 3rd seed.

Man this Celtic team was firing on all cylinders, had literally just blown out Giannis by 27 points, and then Jaylen Brown came back and ruined their chemistry. Worst loss of the season. They shouldn’t have rushed him back from injury while the team was playing so well without him. You could tell he was struggling to accept this is now Hugo Gonzalez’s team as he suddenly was hijacking the buttery smooth offense to go 7-19 from the floor.

@me in a couple of years but at what point do we start considering that Knueppel not only should be a lock for RoTY but might even genuinely be the guy that’s more likely to be the best player in this class over their whole careers. Like, I think LaMelo and Brandon Miller are also both great players with elite potential and that obviously helps but I think Knueppel might just really be him. And in general, the floor+ceiling combo is higher than Flagg. Like he feels like at worst Klay with worse defense at best Larry Bird. Whereas Flagg is admittedly at best LeBron but at worst is probably Andrew Wiggins.
