Maybe I don’t understand the definition of “poster” dunk but this doesn’t seem like one to me? Like it’s a nice dunk but he’s not really drinking on him. Is this just a “man tells at clouds” moment for me?
Same, I see people call things on here a poster all the time that I don’t really see why lol.
The actual definition is, if you took a picture of the play, and turned it into a poster, would it look cool on your wall? That’s it.
Sometimes dunking past results in a cool pic despite not being as cool a video.
Generally speaking it feels like a poster has become any dunk where a shot blocker was in a position to block the shot and didn’t.
And while I agree with you generally that viciously going through a guy (DeAndre Jordan on Brandon Knight and Vince on Alonzo Mourning are 2 that immediately come to mind), the most famous “poster” in my franchises history definitely does not fit that definition, but ironically does look good on a literal poster

I dunno, I disagree. I think of Ja and Ant dunking on dudes as posters. Blowing by someone and dunking is cool but I think the term has been diluted to the point where any duny can be called a poster.
