At least these recent years, there’s parity. And as a fan of another team, the NBA was so boring back then.

They arent tanking, they’re rebuilding there’s a difference. They’re looking for their core and the hope is the Kids they got in the recent draft could be apart of that.

The Owner said one thing but the GM and Coach have yet to show up with 8 players available to a game. Their 2-Ways barely played this season. One logged 49 mins, the other 34 mins and the 3rd 2-way hasn’t debuted yet.

They haven’t shut anyone down with surgery. Nic Claxton has been playing with a sprained thumb since January 23rd, if he was on the Jazz he would’ve had surgery already. They haven’t benched any of their starters in the 4th quarter Outside of the Pelicans no one else in the bottom 6 can say that.

Stop with the gaslighting. Rebuilding is absolutely a form of tanking. It’s purposefully manipulating your roster in way to be bad with the express purpose to lose as many games as you can to get as good of draft pick as you can. Hence why your owner confessed to tanking before the season began.

Your team doesn’t have to sit players in the 4th or keep players out with injuries because of the shit roster your team purposefully put together to lose and to lose as often as possible.

What is an ethical tank? Is it being terrible for 100% of the minutes your team plays for an entire season on purpose? Or is it better to be terrible for 30-40% of the minutes your team plays but to time it so that those minutes are in the 4th quarter? Which gives fans more entertainment?

I personally think there’s no real difference. They are both tanking and both have pros and cons. The Nets could easily have 5-10 more wins if they wanted to by simply acquiring more vets last off season

The only team that really tried to not be terrible and failed is the kings

Roster construction has nothing to do with whether a tank is ethical or not. It’s all about how a coach utilizes the players they have available to them.
