The 2nd pick Dylan Harper last night: 22/2/2 with 2 TOs and 2 threes in 22mins.
He is also wearing No.2, playing the 2 on the court, while being the 2nd child in the Harper family.
His birthday is on March 2nd (ok now I’m stretching it).
ESPN analysts will use this to show he could never be a number ONE option on any team
MICHAEL JEFFREY JORDAN WOULD NEVER POST THIS STATLINE, HE’S NUMBER TWO TO NO ONE!
Sam Bowie:
Don’t @ me, but I think he was #23 at his best.
Press 2 to subscribe to more facts I saw on Hupu and decided to steal for karma.
两
How many hands does he have? Legs? Eyes? This is not coincidence
And two balls, this conspiracy runs deep
Well we can’t say that for sure
Might have to wait until he does a big balls celebration on the court.
If he only cradles one arm low… one ball.
On the plus side, he’s probably less likely to injure himself doing so if he only has one.
Send da video
Do you imply then that he has three testicles?
Now we don’t know that for sure, do we? In fact something like 3% of human males have less than 2 testicles.
Source: idk man, vibes?
3%??? No way
Shots fired at topic
You know, on average, there are less than 2 legs per person in the world.
I’m above average in something!
Harvey Dent ass stat line
Lmfao
Kid is nasty. Smiling rn can’t believe this my life
So fucked up that a Spurs fan said this lmao. Like you spent 15 years a as a Bobcats fan.
David Robinson/ Tim Duncan, Tony, Ginobli, Kawhi, Wemby, Harper, Castle
It sure has been rough for y’all. Finally though y’all have a talented young player. The dark days are over for San Antonio.
But the Spurs also have Harrison Barnes who just got injured by waking up from a nap. Cosmic karma is real.
Also lost his Ironman streak :(
Cosmic karma is my favorite pizza at Mellow Mushroom
I haven’t had mellow mushroom in so long and now you’ve made me miss college. Damn you!
Mellow Mushroom fans rise up! You’re a real one.
Sounds like caramel flavored cotton candy tbh
I dont understand why you think he’s implying he’s suffered.
TIL being glad my team is good again is claiming I’ve suffered.
Spurs basketball from 2019-2024 wasn’t fun but I’m never gonna act like it’s comparable to being a Wizards or Hornets fan.
Yeah I think any sane Spurs fan understands we’ve been incredibly lucky in the past and somehow got even luckier this time around.
The Spurs had only missed the playoffs for 1 year of my first 29 years on this earth and the majority of those were 50 win seasons.
They tanked one year after missing the playoffs for 3 and got Wemby. No ones suffered lol
That’s exactly why I tried to do the LeBron meme. The fact we’ve landed Wemby, Castle and Harper 3 consecutive years is insanely lucky and I can’t believe we’re already this good again. Especially considering where this team was just two seasons ago. Really more of an expression of joy and gratitude for the luck than anything else.
I feel like the Castle and Harper luck are more insane than the Wemby pick. Still can’t believe we got Harper.
Idk man its insanely lucky you drafted Tim Duncan to an already championship level team.
Its crazy you drafted Tony Parker and Ginobli to a championship team. It’s crazier you drafted Kaw…. Etc etc etc
Idk at some point I feel like it shouldn’t be crazy to Spurs fans anymore.
lol wtf are you even saying? Spurs have had good players in the past so fans can’t enjoy when they win a 6% chance to get the second pick?
Or are you saying that all of those players were lottery luck and therefore the Spurs cheat and fans should expect it? Do you actually think Parker, Manu and Kawhi were going to be drafted in the top 10? tbf with what you’re saying that’s the kind of ball knowledge I’d expect.
My guess is you’re just bitter and hating.
Stay mad 😂
Don’t be gross nobody is bitter and mad. Were joking about sports online. I’m just talking shit about the embarrassment of riches yall have had. Their draft spot doesnt matter. Your success in the draft does.
You saying you can’t believe this is your life is funny. Its legit always been your life. Like a Patriots fan saying wow OMG I can’t believe we’re in the Superbowl and have an MVP caliber QB.
I can’t lie. I now at least understand what you meant and I wasnt expecting that because I was pretty confused at your initial comment.
You’ve been very snarky and nasty, replying to every comment I’ve made in this thread but “don’t get gross we’re just talking sports my guy” lol for sure.
You legit sound so bitter. You’re not even making sense anymore. “Draft spot doesn’t matter” my brother in Christ my original comment was based around the fact that we lucked out (6% chance) in getting the pick to draft Harper in the first place 😂
What’s actually funny is how angry me saying that got you, and the ways you’ve desperately tried to justify your bitter hater position. “Spurs drafted Parker and Manu you should be used to it”💀
Show me on the doll where the Spurs (and the Pats I guess) hurt you.
Again, you’re bitter. Stay mad 🫡
“Smiling can’t believe this is my life”
Hasn’t this literally always been your life? You said that as though there were dark days and you persevered to the promised land.
For damn near 30 years you contended or had the #1 or #2 pick. Shit was never rough for you to be sitting there in wonderment at the Spurs being the #2 seed with a loaded core.
Bruh you seem so miserable I’d never take advice from you on how I should feel 😂
But also I never said we suffered my guy. My team wasn’t good for a few years and they got really lucky with drafting and now we are. That’s cool to me. I dig that.
Also it’s objectively crazy that we got the pick to draft Harper. I still can’t believe we got that lucky. Thats why I’m smiling can’t believe this is my life. You’re twisting yourself into a pretzel to have a problem with it.
The fact that it has so many upvotes is a disconcerting reminder that some people just read whatever they want into things.
Because redditors are fucking stupid.
bro really put nephew there lmao
And even LMA was getting All-NBA spots when he was with the Spurs, helping to ride out the immediate post-Kawhi seasons.
We really are spoiled lol. For what it’s worth, after making the playoffs for 22 straight years and being very good and legit contenders for most of them to going six straight years of missing the playoffs and being mediocre or straight up bad, was quite the culture shock. But yeah, six years of being bad is nothing compared to some other teams. We really are fortunate.
It’s one rebuild, Michael. How long could it take? 3 years?
Tony, Ginobli, Kawhi
To be fair, these three were fairly big draft reaches (I guess less so kawhi but he was no surefire pick) and are pretty good examples of how well the Spurs can find, draft, and develop talent.
Also I think the Castle pick was genuinely pretty smart, that kid should have gone 1st overall. No idea how he fell to 4th.
He’s just saying the lebron james meme - it’s really not that serious
First of all, get fucked stay mad. But also Spurs basketball has been mid since 2019, and objectively bad from ‘20-‘24. Literally a sub .500 team since 2019. Now we finally have a real core again and hope for the future. Never acted like we’re a poverty franchise but fuck you im going to enjoy my team being good again and loaded with young talent.
Wonder what team you have to root for to be this bitter at somebody’s joy 👀
He’s 20 but plays like a 10 year vet.
Just here to greet the ESPN content interns
👋 hi yall
His birthday is on March 2nd
Which means he posted that statline on the 2nd day of being in his 20’s
March 2? You mean 2 days ago?
Funny reading all the experts knock him the last couple weeks even though he’s playing on one of the best teams in the league and fighting for minutes against some legitimate studs. Clif notes, Harper is gonna be just fine.
No no there’s only one number to remember and thats 4.
> His birthday is on March 2nd (ok now I’m stretching it).
March, famously, is the second month after January! It’s also the second month in the year with at least 30 days!
98% sure he’s going to be a star, but the last two percent is the hardest to get, and that’s why they leave it in the milk.
Harper not getting the sort of role these other rookies are this year but dude is legit. Great pick by the spurs.
Man I like CMB but I was praying we jumped to 2 because Harper is the exact kind of player who’d have transformed the team and adds a downhill attack and patience we do not have otherwise
Preach, offence was absymal last night particularly in the 2nd half, people just dribbling on the perimeter aimlessly, no one putting pressure on the defence, no good shots being created. And then no one could make a shot, anyway.
Yeah we lack downhill pressure outside of RJ who usually does it from second side, IQ doesn’t do it enough with his drives, Scottie doesn’t have the wiggle and tight handle to operate from the top like that, and BI is not really quick enough to get all the way to the rim reliably. Shead is the only one who just from a standstill can create burst to the rim but he’s a bad finisher and mostly just makes plays off the drives. CMB was a driver in college so hopefully he can show that more going forward but right now he is being used more as a screener, roller, and in the dunker spot and we’ll see if his handle is tight enough to use that physicality at this level. But yeah Harper would be perfect because he can line up with any other guard on the roster as a 6’5 strong guard and a line with him at point moving IQ to the 2 would be deadly
As a kid I was at a Yankee day game, score was 2-2 in the 2nd with a 2-2 count on Jeter at 2:22 pm
So the old scoreboard at the old stadium, which identified who was at bat by their uniform number, had the number 2 so many times
https://imgur.com/a/LFxzHgU
And he played ‘Jay Z - 22 two’s’ in the locker room.
22 Twos for y’all mothafuckas
This is all TOO much
He also has 2 names, a first and a last (no known middle name), and two parents. He also has two sets of 12 hours per day, and 2 sets of 30 seconds per minute. He also has 2 sets of 30 minutes per hour as well as 2 sets of 26 weeks per year. It’s insane.
I heard some rumors about two eyes too. And whispers of two legs. Where does it stop?
Dueces wild.
Imagine if he was the ninth pick

ESPN: Dylan’s Harper has been found out by reddit to have a CURSE of NUMBER 2. Guess who’s his favorite player all time? LeBron James. Is this a sign that LeBron is the 2nd best player or might even be lower all time? We will discuss it with bunch of our analysts after this break.
Glen Lerner ass statline.
This connects to KD the bus rider who is always number 2 right?
I can already see how where his career is heading short term. I’d lock him in to win 2028 MIP
Rookie year: playing well in limited role some rookie slumps but mostly positive
Sophomore year: semi breakout, still a somewhat limited role but he’s talented enough to still put up 16-18ppg
3rd year: he’s now the lead guard on the team and wins MIP averaging 26⁄6 on a title contender
Straight up, Dylan Harper is having the rookie year Scoot should’ve had😪
He took a number 2 at 2 pm.
“I hear the boys at the precinct have another name for me”
This is the kind of content I live for on this sub 👏
i think we know exactly what he was bumping after the game
Deuces wild
He outplayed VJ in less time while both were in the court.
He was plus 3 on the night.
As fun as it would’ve been to see Kon or Flagg with the Spurs, Dylan’s also been growing and balling more
He’s legit. Those highlight reels don’t really do justice to how smooth his game looks in person. Rutgers is going to be fun to watch this season.
Someone watched The Number 23.
In his 2nd season no less!
