Ja and Trae are paid and played like 1st options. Yet both have severe deficiencies that prevent them from having that level of impact and their salary makes it difficult to get the right players around them.

Collin is on a vet min and Reed is a rookie. Both play off stars, not try to be one. Both have their deficiencies, but neither need an entire team built around to hide their weaknesses.
