He can play power forward, is a career 37% shooter from three and is a good passer. So I think other teams would use him and go double big. So I think he would start for the, Grizzlies, Wizards, Heat, Houston, Celtics, and right now the Nuggets, the Sixers as Embid wouldn’t play on B2B and could play along side him. His game on offense is an offensive hub on the perimeter so it wouldn’t clog the lane by playing 2 bigs.
I think Jabari is a bit underwhelming but I still think he or KD make sense over J Will on Houston. Surprised you didn’t say the raps with Jakob in and out so much though Jak has looked much more himself as of late

Jaylin Williams, Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace, AC, and now Jared McCain, if these dudes weren’t on our team they would be GUARANTEED starters on some team in the league, and killing it.
I think Cason definitely is but is he not starting for you guys most of this season and last? The others have flaws that probably hurt them starting on many teams even though they all have elite skills and OKC can start them. Like McCain would have a harder time starting on teams with a small PG or teams with poor perimeter D which limits him to probably Detroit, Houston, and maybe Minnesota (not sure if he’s better than Donte or Ayo to warrant over them) off the top of my head. Of course OKC he could start next to Shai with his size and D but makes more sense for them to start some combo of Wallace, J Dub, and Dort as the other guards and wings.
Healthy lineup, is SGA, Jdub, IHart, Chet, and then one of the shooting guards, could be Caso, could be Dort, I think they kind of decide based on their defensive plan, so I’m not going to say he is a clear starter, because last year it was pretty solidly Dort, but this year he has taken a bit of a slump so, its not so clear.
I guess I just think it’s funny to frame someone who has started most of the last 2 years and still starts when you go with him or Hartenstein as the 5th starter when fully healthy as not a starter. If we’re talking about someone like Aaron Wiggins I’d understand it more

Yeap he definitely has, his shootingnhas come round and he seems to possibly to be finally recovered from some lingering hamstring issues.
He isn’t a great defensive five at all, but when he can play a hybrid 4⁄5 alongside Chet he does really well.
If he had more foot speed or was a bit lighter he would be an awesome PF. He just diesnt quite have the athleticism for it, but may be he can improve.

the pendulums swung too far from “anyone can do what SGA is doing with a team this stacked” to where some people are claiming SGA has no help. I think the truth is the team as constructed with Shai is insane but they are no where near a 50 win team without him
Yeah 100% the defense is insane and the offense can have good moments without him but over an 82 game sample size the flaws in the offense without him would become really apparent. They’d be like a trailblazers level team without him probably maybe a little better

Defensive help yes they are stacked on that end. offensively they are still pretty hit and miss. Them getting McCain has helped alot though.
mccain seems like an insanely unfair trade that most teams would love to have, but even before that its not like they were doing poorly without sga
I saw some comments when this roster was really depleted earlier in the year and SGA was the entire offense for a stretch.
But generally, you don’t see any such comments when this roster is reasonably healthy
