It was a rugby match and the refs swallowed their whistle until the 4th. Jazz were allowed to beat the shit out of Jokic. Grabs, pulls, etc. He’d try to set a screen and they’d hook and grab him so he started flailing a bit more which probably is why people are saying he’s a flopper.
4th the refs changed their tune and were calling more fouls which, IMO, should’ve been called all game.
The free throw disparity was because George was blowing by Nuggets defenders and the Nuggets were struggling to score BECAUSE THEY WERE HACKED. Nuggets also had a ton of run outs in the 4th and were grabbed/hacked.

I mostly stopped watching nba years ago because of one sided officiating and was just starting to get back into it then I watch this game. The replay review has only made things worse, if it takes more than a minute maybe 2 at the most it isn’t clear and obvious. Yet every review I see is around 5 minutes, just boring and they overturn things that are not clear and obvious just judgment calls.

I’m tired of seeing these posts comparing free throw attempts like both teams should be equal. It doesn’t work that way at all. Yes, the refs might have botched some calls (I didn’t see this one) or not. I guarantee they didn’t botch a dozen or more foul calls all in the favor of one team in a quarter.
Teams play differently. Some players are better at drawing fouls. Some players are worse at defending without fouling. Also each team’s play style will affect how often fouls occur. Eg a team that drives into the paint more often will typically draw more fouls. Also, in this case, one team is tanking and trying to lose, the other is a serious title contender and is trying to win. Like, what are we doing here guys?
