It’s a resale site where people are selling tickets they already bought. They used to hide their fees but (not sure if the rule change was state or fed law) now they show the actual price including fees for me. In your state you may have to go into filters and click on show fees

Prices can be higher or lower based on the event. The crazy in demand concerts will always be higher so resellers make profit here, but even Lakers games these days are cheaper as the game gets closer. Made huge mistakes buying during pre-sale this year when I should have waiting to buy last second

Sacremento Kings have been selling out their home games in 2023-2024. They averaged 17463 fans per game when their arena capacity is around 17600 fans.

In 2024-2025, they were horrible and they still average 16585 attendees per game.

This year they are even worse, and yet the team is averaging 14382 attendees per game with still 12 home games left.

I think Sacremento Kings game attendance seem rather inelastic with respect to the acumen of their team. Wherever or not they are price inelastic or not, remains to be seen.
