He’s also very underrated on defense at this point too. People legitimately argue that he’s not just the worst in the league currently but also the worst ever. If you don’t just watch clips on Reddit and actually watch games and look at the advanced stats, he’s merely a bit below average. Him getting hunted on defense isn’t because he’s awful. Gobert regularly gets hunted and is arguably a top10 all-time defender. Luka gets hunted to wear him out for offense and to try and get him into foul trouble.
The whining and not running back on defense has gotten worse (or at least it is discussed more) and it’s turned a lot of people off.
But I agree, as an offensive force he is so fun to watch.
