Lamelo ball is then Brandon Miller than Kon

How does that in any way imply the Hornets aren’t using him well? We’re 17-2 with our main starting 5 and have 9 consecutive road wins.

Miller and LaMelo SHOULD BE the primary initiators because they are better at shot creation and beating their man to breakdown the defense. They have a ‘bigger bag’.

That doesn’t mean Kon isn’t an extremely high priority as an elite shooter anytime he’s available. He has a great sense of positioning and really makes the defense work off-ball. Needs very little space and time to get a quality (for him) shot off. He’s basically functioning like a younger Klay Thompson except with better ball handling so he can create for himself more. I imagine considering his age and work ethic he will continue to develop his on-ball ability even more but he has been perfect in his role.

Eh idk if you can be considered the first option if you lack self creation, those guys typically can bail out the offense if a play breaks down. I know based off this season it would be hard to justify Lamelo just cause his efficiency is pretty bad still, but his shot difficulty is way harder than millers and we’ve seen a higher offensive peak from him in previous years and Lamelo’s shots are far less assisted than Kon and millers.

So essentially it’s weird cause you got a guy like Kon who is mega efficient but gets a lot of his shots assisted, miller is kind of in between, but Lamelo has the most difficult shot diet but he’s also our best creator.
