Is it just me or does anyone else think Alex Caruso probably does not like this? I know he gives the courtesy laugh here but I also noticed him not really playing along with the bit through the interview.
It can seem a bit awkward to be having someone calling you their son without approval. I know Ernie is very well respected but this bit isn’t really that funny.

No this is absolutely him just being polite, this happens every single interview now with them. Ernie goes way over the top with Caruso every time, notice how Caruso never calls him Dad (because that would be so fucking weird). Ernie turns 70 this year and this is exactly how old people joke, they have one running joke per person and it’s never actually funny
