Nobody is doing that. People are rightfully ripping on him for passing up on two clean looks to get the shot up and waiting until it was contested.
He’s a set shooter. He’s not able to shoot the three when someone is in his space. Can clearly see it here.
There’s less than 5 seconds left. When it’s uncontested you gotta get that shot up. There’s no time to wait for a better/more perfect look.

Mobley be like ‘Me??? Why me????’ lol. Love Mobley, but I’ll be the first to admit that no offense is ever going to run through him, he needs better players on the floor to space for him and take these moments instead of him. Been a bummer to see his offense regress this season.

I don’t think it’s that he missed, I think it’s how he hesitated and ended up taking the worst of the 3 different looks he got. More importantly, the coach probably should’ve just called a timeout before that to draw something up.

Their downsides are three point shooting and youth. I think they can make it for sure, their defense is phenomenal and Cade is incredible, but, if Tatum comes back and shakes the rust off, it’s gotta be Boston as the favorites for me.
