I follow the Lakers because I’m a LeBron fan but anyone who is putting the Lakers being bad solely on Luka is an idiot. Like there is not a single great defender on that team and the fit with him, LeBron, and Reaves clearly doesn’t work. Luka gets shat on for his bad defense but LeBron isn’t really any better. The team’s construction as a whole is clearly flawed and you can tell from their offseason and trade deadline where they took basically 0 swings they’re treating this as a bye year and aren’t all in on winning a title.
I’m an actual Laker fan for life and I’d like to see Bron gone as well. I love him and can’t wait for us to retire his jersey but it’s ran its course. We need to maximize all that we can get out of these next few years.

Growing up a Laker fan (3peat era, Kobe-Pau) my pops grew up in the Showtime era, for the most part every season was championship or bust. For the majority of LBJ stint with the Lakers, it’s been OKAY. That is why many Laker fans like myself feel it is the right time for the franchise to part ways. I hope we retire his jersey, if LeBron goes back to Cleveland that would be pretty awesome too.
