It’s actually kinda funny they asked HIM of all coaches this question especially considering this is his first year coaching (a rookie) and he’s coaching 2 rookies, 1 sophomore, 1 third year player himself. It feels like half his roster is 25 or under lmfao.

How about they ask him directly how he’s able to convert this roster of kids into a legit title contender so quickly and what pointers he’d like to give other teams on how to turn around.

Hah, he’s 39 which is pretty young for a coach. As a fellow 39 year old, I’d like to believe it’s not that old period 😅

While they have shown a lot of growth, i would still love it if they could convince CP3 to be a consultant or assistant coach next year.

Demin has been a very good shooter, he’s got a great frame but he needs to work on his handle and fill out that frame. He was touted as a PG but I think he’s gonna end up more of a wing

Traore looks awesome, insanely quick first step and has been blowing by good defenders. Also has great vision and can make some great cross court passes off of his drive. Honestly might have the highest ceiling on the team right now (almost Maxey-lite, we’re hoping he can be Maxey’s level)

Wolf looks like he needs a lot of work on the defensive end in terms of positioning but his offense is already pretty solid outside of the typical rookie flaws.

Powell is an athletic freak, he has a way better handle than I thought he would. Also has a solid defensive build but truthfully has been bad on that end.

⁴⁄₅ rooks with, imo, a good chance at being rotation guys in this league. Saraf stinks and I don’t really see a future for him but hey, you never know.

Other than that, I like MPJ on this team. I think Clowney is alright, nothing special but he can be a bench 4 for us going forward. We badly badly need a scoring punch from whatever rookie we bring in.

Hollinger wrote this week that Wolf looks like a rotation guy. Some people are high on Traore. If 2 of the 5 stick i’m happy. Three would solidify Marks as an elite late first round draft evaluator.
