Damn it’s been that bad? 30 from three especially is really bad from your main star. I noticed he kept getting outperformed by a different Celtics roleplayer every other night but didn’t add that all up. Sheesh. 

There is a reason why people ask for more sample size before we move certain players up to a higher level. Jaylen has been great. But without seeing even a full season with him as the first option, it was always stupid to be like “yep that’s enough for me, he had about 20-30 games of being an elite 2 way player, I think he is better than….”. There are players who hve been doing it for years and years, its not easy to put them down when a guy does it for not even half a season. Sometimes players taking a new role can exceed expectations, then as time goes on, other teams start finding out how to stop them, implement new strategies especially in the playoffs, and the player goes back down to earth

Murray has been Denver’s worst defender since Jokic went down earlier this season, which is not to say they’ll play better without him but you’d at least expect the defense to be marginally better.

Hopefully he’s back to full strength by playoff time. That stretch with 4 starters out took a lot out of him physically.

Celtics were on 3rd road game in 4 nights and second night of a B2B. No shame in what happened, even if it’s disappointing.

Jokic is outrageously good at basically everything that has to do with basketball but my favorite part of his game is that despite being basically the most efficient player of all time.. He doesnt care about efficiency at all. He’s thinking how to get that W and to make himself and the team better at all times.

lol for me I flinched everytime he took a 3 this game but I’d trust his instincts/iq over mine.

I know it’s easier to say Cam replaced MPJ because of the trade, but the way the season has played out and how the Nuggets have played when fully healthy, it’s more like he’s replaced KCP’s void, since Aaron Gordon filled the offensive hole from MPJ’s trade when AG was healthy.

I understand the Nuggets aren’t healthy now (and may never be fully healthy) and sometimes need the volume scoring, but he doesn’t need to have like 18 points and 8 rebounds to make an impact like MPJ regularly needed to on the Nuggets because of how he was used within their system.

Celtics really bailed us out by never being able to take advantage of Jokic missing 9 3’s lmao. Pull that shit against the Thunder we’re going to be down 20. No more chucking Friday pls my GOAT.

In my completely uninformed opinion we should use Jokic/Murray as offensive boosts. Then as soon as we’re up 10, or even just tied, sub in the hustle players we traded for. It’s not ideal but we can have good defense or great offense but we can’t have both at the same time. Working those lineups could see us get a championship, but watching the Pistons/Thunder game makes me a bit concerned on defensive effort. Full court pickup seems to be the standard for contenders now.

I dunno what it is but those afternoon games we are always giga-ass lmao. Pretty sure we have won maybe two or three of those in the last three years. Whatever it is, as soon as I see an early game I just mark it down as a loss.

I was at the game and they were definitely hustling after misses at first. By the end of the second quarter they were still missing even wide open shots and you could tell the b2b was catching up with them.

Credit to the Nuggets, they played excellent defense and hustled their tails off.

Pistons rarely blow teams out idk if they lose interest or what but most of their wins involves them having 15-20 point leads it goes down to 3-5 points and then they pull away. It’s why they lead the league in single digit victories

I’d chill out on that. Not that I believe this Boston team is a true title contender with this roster but they were on their 3rd game in 4 nights on the second night of a back-to-back.
