It’s because he didn’t have energy to be 2-way when he was trying to be “the man”. It makes sense now that he doesn’t have to be “the man” and now he’s “one of many men”

Basically, they just play good defense and are like, “Sooner or later ONE OF US is going to make a shot.”

Literally anyone can be the stand out guy on any night offensively but it isn’t by choice or scheme just some nights someone has it and someone else doesn’t. The positive of that is that the guys aren’t selfish so they’ll feed the hot hand if they can’t get shit done, the downside is having a consistent offensive guy with all the confidence in the world is sort of important come playoffs if the lights get too bright and too many people have piss running down their legs.

At least the Spurs always have that floor of a tough defence where the only way they get blown out is if the other team is unconscious from 3.

Someone answered Wemby and he’ll win a title within five years but the Spurs 2nd 3rd and 4th best player for that team arent on the team right now.

I said if Dev Vassell isn’t capable of being the 3rd or 4th best player on a title team Ill eat my hat.
