Genuinely every team feels like they can ball nowadays. Every team has guys who can dribble pass and shoot. The championship may come down to depth and energy. Last two championships came down to energy and depth. Jaylen Brown isn’t better than Luka but he has more energy. Pacers and OKC both had great energy, depth and it came down to injury luck. Spurs have great energy and depth as well but Detroit might be a little light offensively.
Doesn’t feel like the days when teams like Bulls and Warriors felt like they were playing a different sport. I am looking at the Spurs starters and they have only one role player Champagnie. The other 4 can all dribble pass shoot and defend. 2016 Cavs only had 3 starters at this level. Hornets have 4 starters who are great offensively. Don’t see guys like Andre Robertson as starters anymore.

Kon is going to shatter the 3pt rookie record by at least 50-70 3pt makes. He’s having the most efficient rookie season in NBA history. His overall(offense+defense) net rating is 26th in the whole NBA (Flagg-98th). He’s leading the whole NBA in 3 point makes, while shooting 7% better than any of the other players in the top 10. His defensive rating is barely worse than Flaggs 114 to Kon’s 117. Elite defensive rating is between 105-110 BTW. I don’t know how the NBA could possibly not give it to Kon. If they want to give it to both rookies, that’s fine, but a rookie that finishes with the best shooting season in rookie history, most efficient rookie season all-time and finishes with a top 26 net rating in the NBA and on a team fighting for the playoffs. This is one of the best rookie seasons in NBA history
