I saw a lot of people saying it was a bad game for Vic… when I thought he actually had a really impressive game. Yes, he missed a couple of shots, but his impact was huge. I don’t think they come anywhere close to winning this game without him. He kept his cool when they were bashing him constantly. On the offensive end, he collapsed the Piston defense so many times, it made the game easier for the guys to shoot around him… and on the defensive end on top of the blocks, you could tell he was having his usual “anti-gravity” effect on the Piston players. Him roaming in the paint also unlocked Castle and Fox, so they could harass everybody far from the basket. I am very much looking forward for the rematch!
I do believe the pistons can beat this spurs team with physicality. But JB has to improve his offense coaching
Naw man, I’m a big fan of this Pistons team and that physicality will be a problem for a lot of teams but I just think this Spurs team has too much dawg in them and challenging them physically won’t get you too far.
Pistons kept getting in the game because they were out physicalitying Wemby. But lots of offensive blunders and lack of ball movement let Castle just hound Cade
