Not putting up big box score numbers automatically makes someone a scrub to most fans, and it doesn’t help that they either don’t understand what they are watching beyond cool dunks and 3s, or they don’t watch any basketball at all outside of some playoffs.
You misunderstand. I’m a proponent of Rudy on the wolves. But I also understand that Rudy has offensive shortcomings that in a tight game might make it harder for the team offensively. Which does matter in the playoffs.

Dude, he is super fucking important to our offense too man. The screens, the offensive rebounding , shit makes a massive difference .
I don’t think it’s the lack of offense that makes Gobert unplayable in the playoffs, it’s the poor perimeter defense. He can absolutely dominate against teams that aren’t dependent on the 3, but we’ve seen him get cooked enough times by teams that can shoot the 3 well.
His perimeter defense is better than you think. Take that shot that Luka made. Nearly anyone else in the league doesn’t make that basket.
I don’t even know why Gobert gets hate for that shot. Regardless of who it is Luka hits that shot because he’s that good.
