Death by a thousand cuts. Monty committed basketball war crimes and obviously didn’t want to be there. Some vets were injured early on. Roster composition was bad. During a lot of the streak, they would snatch defeat from the hands of victory so it seemed like a mental component kicked in about halfway through the streak.
