twitter stans (or really all stans but it started on twitter) usually have pretty large groups chats with other stans and they add who ever they are a fan of into those chats. these ‘celebs’ i’m using the term loosely cos it’s more the social media personalities that have a good rapport with their fanbase or idk the disconnect between fan/friend is less being added to these chats will reply from time to time and it’s like a fun lil thing…

my expertise for this info: i was a one direction stan growing up (and still am frfr) and we used to have mass groupchats with some of the One D boys or 5sos guys (im aussie) and when they weren’t like uber famous they would be sometimes active in these aforementioned chats

Not really. He’s let stuff slip about depression, issues with his body image, dealing with insecurity and lashed out many times when critiqued by random fans etc. It’s not surprising that someone that’s displayed major self esteem issues would do this. From what’s come out, his group chat was made up of KD super stans that would stroke his ego. We don’t know him personally but I’m sure KD is still dealing with mental health issues or conditions. He has all the money and fame but he often comes off as more bitter and jealous than happy.
