The small market thing is bs. You can’t get players because your owner is a cheap POS. OKC is a small market and contended in ¹²⁄₁₆ of the last seasons. Bucks are tiny market but they swung for the fences every Giannis season. Even if it failed.

As a Laker fan, this is barely even Lakers news.

Harris has no impact on the Lakers roster or its direction.

We can speculate if he’s retiring or if he was forced out to make room for Walter’s people but at the end of the day, it’s not at the level of NBA news.

Much respect to Harris and I hope he enjoys his retirement.

Harris wasn’t the only one in the meeting and in no way did it say Harris had a lot of influence. Just that Magic was annoyed there were other opinions in the room. Just because Magic only reported to Jeanie doesn’t mean Jeanie should only be hearing from Magic.
