With this game as a small sample size, I think they have footing to go back to the captains or East vs. West. Since Jokic is still potentially a captain, my proposal is that the all stars are selected and then they get to anonymously vote for two captains.

Shorten the season to 62 games and the players would try harder in the All Star game and it would trim a lot of the meaningless games out of the season. You have the mid season tournament and play in and 3 rounds plus a finals and all star weekend, 82 games is way too much at this point.
