Unfortunately I doubt that will happen any time because he’s still first in career free throws made with 9787, followed (ironically) by Moses Malone at 9018 if you count his two ABA seasons. Lebron is closest among active players and he’s still almost 700 off at 8799, and Harden is next at 8521, so I think it’ll be a minute until we see someone challenge that, considering he also played between 80 and 82 games for 17 of his 19 seasons. There is actually one part of LeBron’s game that has not slipped one tiny bit with age:
His passing.
It’s crazy to say but his passing has become underrated. He was always known more for his passing earlier in his career but it seems like a lot of people have forgotten that he’s literally one of the greatest passers to ever play the game on top of everything else he does
For a lot of his career, he could get assists simply due to his rim pressure and overall scoring threat. Still putting up 7.1 assists a night this year with all of that severely diminished lmao
