Brother, he played with Harden, Kyrie and KD. Even when he was on the floor with them, he didn’t want to defer to them either. KD and Kyrie are big fans of him because he’s a pure hooper in their eyes and although he didn’t get as much playing time because he was younger and some injuries here and there, he played the same way with them his first two years. He worked with Harden because he was a pass first guy.

And Kyrie and KD were his mentors who always spoke to him and everything. So, he did have mentors. Big time mentors. Nothing changed.

I’m a temp Nets fan because of Mike so didn’t get to see a lot of Cam to have a strong opinion. But even I could tell that he’s a bucket. Contrary to popular beliefs, it’s not easy to score like that even on a bad team (will actually see heavier defense by the oppo and get like no open shots). He’s talented for sure. Perfect for a contender as the 6th man off the bench. Nuggets could use him the last two years and he might have a ring and a fat contract now lol.

Happy he’s balling out. Just not going to work here once that contract negotiation went south. Personally I think he’s very professional. Put yourself in his position—going from the first option to getting waived in half a season, that’s tough on your mental health.
