Consistent effort against every opponent is a skill, and teams need to practice it just like any other. Lots of modern teams seem to think they can coast, and āturn it onā when the games really matter, but rarely actually manage it. Particularly for young teams.
The number of guys that can āturn it onā in the playoffs can be counted on one hand. LeBron and Butler are basically the only guys who have consistently achieved success with that strategy.
I donāt know if Iām allowed to say this as an OKC fan, but I love Castleās game. I hate it. But I love it. Hope heās ok.
