idk. spurs fans constantly complain about the team playing down to the level of a weaker opponent (i agree). i think you go for it no matter what. yes it’s practically a bit inconsequential but if you are selectively competitive, you get games like the last okc-spurs which got frighteningly closer than it needed to be.
