It’s been called before but imo if you’re hitting a step back and end up naturally jumping forward 2 feet while your defender lands short of where you left your feet, it shouldn’t be a foul. And definitely not when you kick out like Harden did here.

He landed on the 3pt line not past it and he started much closer to the line so much so the refs had to review if it was a 2 or 3. He really didn’t move that much.
Keep an eye on shooters next fee games you watch. Most land inside the 3 point line.
i know, it’s a problem! If shooters are allowed to land FORWARD from their original shooting position, genuinely what are defenders supposed to do? Contest from like 5 feet? It just neuters the defense even more, making the game even more unwatchable

FT totals don’t tell you anything about which calls were correct or if physicality was being evenly called. Cavs had a bunch of calls where they just threw themselves to floor a got a whistle.

just replay it in super slow motion if you’re on an iphone. just scroll and watch it all. Harden leaps forward, while kicking out his feet, AND he lands past the 3pt line, while Hardaway jumps up and down and landed BEHIND the 3pt line.
If that would’ve been a foul, the only thing defenders can do is use a teleporting machine to somehow move back multiple feet in a split second

No the dolans DO have the money they just refuse to spend . Our management, team building, scouting etc is all fantastic. But when you have cheap ownership none of that is really sustainable because once players hit their primes they leave because other teams offer more money . With the exception of Jose Ramirez . He was insanely kind to take a pay cut to stay with the team. Next time his contract is up I hope he signs with the dodgers for 400 million dollars and wins a ring

No we can’t offer those type of contracts, however we have lost plenty plenty of players to mid sized contracts . Josh naylor became an all star with us and we let him walk for only 5 years 90 million. If we refuse to pay all star first basemen only 15-20 million a year we are so cooked as an organization.
