It’s a normal thought process to an injury like that. He went through the same thing in 2019 when Hayward/Kyrie got back from injuries and everything got screwed up with roles after we had played so well without them. JB/Tatum/Terry had learned to play a certain way and then got pushed back into smaller roles and it Cooked chemistry. That won’t happen here but you can understand why, if you’re a good teammate, it’d be something on your mind.

It’s not early, he’s pretty in line with alot of other timelines. If the team thinks he’s 110% (Their words not mine) then he’s ready, and doesn’t need to sit any longer

Obviously he will not play until the medical staff gives him full clearance. If they clear him and say he is 100% then yes he should play, at that point not playing when you are 100% is just hurting yourself

There is absolutely zero chance that he’s playing before he’s 100% physically ready.

The Celtics are a good regular season team this year because Joe has them firing on all cylinders, but their ceiling is still fairly low in the playoffs.

Jaylen is their leading guy and his on/off numbers have been awful this year. I doubt they go anywhere with Tatum just returning, but they need more top tier firepower.

I dont think there have been alot of cases of NBA players tearing the same Achilles multiple times. Surgery seems pretty reliable
