He’s got a very high ceiling. But he’s gotta improve his ball handling/turnovers and not disappear in games to take it to the next level
Agreed. And he really needs to bulk up. He’s 21 but looks 17 with how scrawny he is compared to other NBA dudes. He’s a freak athlete with great feel for the game. Best draftee by the bulls since Lauri.
Having to bulk up is the best problem you can really have as a young player because it just takes a good diet and workout program in that direction. I think he’ll get there.
Ballhandling should be his priority for the next 2 years minimum.
The rest of the games this season when there’s no Giddey he should absolutely have the green light.
Billy pulls him quickly but let him learn.
10th in the NBA in blocks.
He’s got more blocks than rn than guys like Jaren Jackson Jr., Donovan Clingan, and Nic Claxton.
Jaren Jackson is a weird player where you would think he would average 2 blocks per game and 9-10 rebounds per game, but just doesn’t lol
The extra offensive load he had to handle in Memphis tanked his defense a bit.
Kind of worried that he’s being pigeonholed into a Dunk or 3 player by Billy Donovan. Haven’t watched too many games after Christmas but he had a smooth middy game in the summer league last year which is slowly going away
Yeah it’s bizarre how the bulls play their young guys, forcing them into roles in a system designed to be mid instead of letting them develop.
I love when random Redditors are right
Bad team stat vacuum. Someone has to score, rebound, assist. This is how we ended up paying Josh smith a bag to stand around.
He’s got good defense and doesn’t need the ball to score. That suggests he can be a winning player. He’s gotta improve ball handling and turnovers and become more consistent, mainly
Cmon, I saw people saying the same things on this subreddit about Cade when he was on a bad team. Do you see the players around him? Hes legit
Especially now when he’s really the sole focus of the defense to still be doing it on good efficiency is a good indicator for future production
There’s just no winning with some people, like is he supposed to be bad while on a bad team? If he is then he’s trash but if he’s good then it’s just empty calories and not worth discussion
Yup, basketball is and will always be a team game
Have you actually seen him play?
Yep. Ivey too
Acting like Ivey wasn’t a solid contributor pre Cole Anthony
We were a bad team
I think you’re mostly right but he has upped his putrid asst% from last season slightly and getting to line better so we are seeing improvements. Not a reliable creator and just okay shooter right now with TO issues and inconsistent D. Let’s see if he improves bc he’s not winning player right now.
I wish the bulls would’ve trade him to the lakers would’ve been a very delicious piece right next to Luka
Lakers are at their white player limit. Against the rules to add another
Fair
Lol luka would been the trade piece. You’re not getting him otherwise
lol you’re funny, you would’ve took dalton knect and a second round picked and liked it for Matas lmaooo
You’re high
You know what? I am and I’m sorry, I just got a notification for a job I was applying for and that I was accepted for it and I’m ngl, I’m over the moon. I’m sorry for the ragebait
