Poeltl hasn’t even started the extra $84m/3yr extension he signed in the offseason. I’m sure they’ll try to trade him but I’m not sure many teams would be in the market for that sort of contract

Not really, prior to the back injury he was coming off his best season, the extension is reasonable in that context and he’s a good centre. He’s projected to be back after the all star game and even if he gives us 10min we’ll be way better with him then without him.

No one is getting traded. Poeltl is our starting C. Trayce was picked up because we don’t have a backup C. Due to Poeltl’s injury and no backup, CMB had been playing lots of minutes as a small ball C. So he’ll probably move back to his natural position now, but he’s been too good not to play.
And Mamu has been a key piece, spacing the floor, solid shooting and even also sometimes being our big, but he’s got a player option and the way he’s been playing, I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t opt out and get a bigger payday elsewhere.
