They called a delay of game on the Clippers for Kawhi throwing it directly to the ref after that shot. The thing I don’t get about that call is that the ref delays the game for another 10 seconds to call it…
The goal is to discourage players from repeatedly doing that shit to gain a competitive advantage (having a more set defense) rather than them being worried about the actual delay of game. Each delay of game after the first one will result in technical FT, which “delays the game” even longer.
