[Lowlight] Jaden Ivey looks odd bringing the ball up the court, end up with a horrific pass (with a replay), even the Bulls announcers couldn’t contain themselves.
Lmaooooo Bro that’s gotta be the top 5 bad passes this season
You fake/telegraph the 1-handed sling 6 times in a row then do it directly to the defender.
Top 5 bad passes? Shit forget that, this is a SHAQTIN’ A FOOL season winner lmao
Literally one of ffs worst plays I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂😂
I honestly didn’t know what pass you were talking about because there were 3 terrible plays in a row.
The clear worst one
If you don’t like that you don’t like Bulls basketball.
With all them guards too? That’s rough
He did it again later in the game, but not as many wind ups lol
Wowww lolol I need to see the video, that’s so wild
Jaden kalshi Ivey!
Bro thought he is at the Superbowl or something
Lol
It was horrible….but to try and understand what he was seeing….if Simons busted his ass to the net right away instead of jogging to the three point line like so many guards now do in transition, it would have put pressure on that one defender to guard two threats. Simons busting his ass to the net and the corner three.
Thats what Ivey wanted him to do….its just Ivey comically tried forcing it when Simons ran like 2 seconds to late and half as hard as he needed to.
I’m in a coffee shop laughing out Ioud and I hate the Bulls team for making this moment for me
Reminds me of how 2K makes your teammates behave on HOF
Side note: Pretty sad how Ivey completely lost his burst after that injury
Obligatory fuck Cole Anthony. He was having a great season before Cole decided to dive straight into his legs.
Cole Anthony is dirty as shit.
He always making an angry face too
Dude dives for the legs everytime
Ya I thought Ivey was gonna be one of the up and coming players. Dude cooked my team with Cade sitting out during his rookie season. Fucking Cole Anthony
After Cole Anthony bitch ass dove into his leg
Cole “Solomon Hill” Anthony
Cole “Lu Dort” Anthony. I hope the Suns cut his ass. We don’t want him.
Yeah, I’d think the worst thing for your reputation in the league, is being known to intentionally hurt players. Look at Dreymond Green.
Who has Draymond actually hurt where they missed games, Dillon brooks and Pat Beverly, Grayson Allen and Cole Anthony are the worst
Bringing up Dort before Pat Bev is wild.
I mean one of them is still playing. Seems more relevant. Dort has a bunch of more knees to still take out. Ain’t nobody afraid of Pat Bev no more.
Fuck Cole Anthony
Always and forever
People were hyping him up in high school to be a nice player. He was balling, but in the NBA Cole Anthony similar to this
Yeah its rough, early injuries like that can really fuck up a young players development physically and mentally
Yup. I’m still convinced Wiseman could have grown into a starting caliber center, but everytime he started to string together some good games he got injured. Then of course the big one capped his whole career.
I just want a Boilermaker to ball out in the league. I don’t think it’s much to ask. A lot of bright starts but never the next step.
Wh as y injury ?
C olDe AnIpaythony?
What. Was. The. Injury
Left Fibia Fracture, January 1st, 2025. Courtesy of Cold And Tony.
Knee Surgery in October 2025.
Jesus. How drunk were you?
Bro don’t cop an attitude look what you wrote lmao
lol
“Why I oughta” ass pass
Lmao. I don’t understand how this comment is so accurate and so funny. Caught me off guard.
Adam Amin and Stacey King are a great duo
They’re the only reason to watch Bulls games this season. When we’re down by a lot, they just start talking about random shit and people in the audience. They’re super positive about the team (even when we suck) and are some of the most fair commentators around. When they see another team do something good, they’ll compliment them. When we commit a foul, they don’t blame the ref.
I am relatively new to the NBA (Bulls fan) and I was shocked when listening to a different broadcast by how much the commentators were “homering.” Like, I get it, you’re specifically here for the home team, but damn. You could TALK about the visiting team a little. Shout out to Adam and Stacey! As long as we retain them, we’ll be alright.
We’re as bad as it gets here in Philly. I actually don’t hate Kate Scott like a lot of Philly fans do (I think she’s gotten worse recently but at least is well informed when it comes to actual basketball strategy and nuance)…but Ala is the worst homer I’ve ever heard on a broadcast.
Calling for cheap shots and injuries to the other team frequently, has apparently never seen a good foul called against us in his life, offers absolutely no interesting commentary about basketball itself, brings up his playing days in a way that makes him sound like a star every single night as if he didn’t play 12mpg and average 5 points in his career. I watch our games on mute these days.
Yeah, Philly has the worst commentary in the league by a mile.
ehhh you guys aren’t that bad when the local GSW broadcast exists
Same experience with the Pistons guys. Been listening to them my whole life and they’re classy dudes who love the sport. In more recent years I’ve needed to pirate games more often and man are most other announcers obnoxious as hell
Stacey is a national treasure
Hornets commentators have finally been blessed with an exciting team, hopefully these guys get one soon. I’d tune in all the time for King
Stacey King was there for the D Rose years and it ruled.
Only good thing going for this franchise in the past 15 years
I saw the title and was ready to say “yeah thats what he looked like in detroit” because he’s been playing a lot worse than people who don’t watch us realize but … no that’s not what he looked like in Detroit. I mean he did do that QB wind up telegraphed pass dribble thing but not 12 times in a row. Strange business is afoot in Chicago
It has been strange business decisions since the Rose injury. DeBallZach was a nice experiment but as soon as it wasn’t working, Bulls should have moved on a lot quicker. Couple that with bad drafting (difficult when you’re stuck in 8-10th seed hell) and you’ve got a recipe for the Chicago Bulls of the past 10 years. It also doesn’t help that the fanbase has coddled and gotten over-attached to role players/bench guys like Ayo (no disrespect) because there’s been so little to be hopeful about. I like some of the young guys, but how far are you really going to ride on that? The Play In Tournament.
Shit like this is just another day in Chicago.
I genuinely think he was trying to get Simons to clear out and he wasn’t clearing out and so he decided to just pelt him with the ball.
Strange business is a nice way of putting it..
Garbage is what I call it
Its crazy how fast things go…
First you are the optimal partner next to Cade then you get hurt and shipped of in a blink of an eye after coming back from injury.
He was not the optimal partner next to Cade. He is small, not good on defense, and needs the ball on his hands to be effective.
I agree with you. I don’t think he was ever going to be a longterm piece in Detroit, and he was always going to get traded by last week if not during the last offseason, but I think the trade return would have been a lot better if he hadn’t gotten injured.
Well Cade is big, pretty good on defense, and is great with and without the ball. I’d say ivey could’ve been a great partner for him. Not every guard can be 6’5” + and be dominant on ball
How exactly is he a good partner to Cade?
We’re talking about iveys ideal outcome as a player. Obviously he didn’t turn out that way
Even the ideal outcome. The ideal partner for a player like Cade is somebody like Evan Mobley. If it is a guard, somebody who is like a Ray Allen type.
I like iveys speed coming out of college as a compliment to Cade tbh but I think a lot can work with how good Cade is
He never fit next to Cade. I didn’t get the pick from day 1.
He was never the optimal person next to Cade
He’s a guard who isn’t a great shooter, he’s a bad fit next to most players lol
He’s been a decent shooter for a little while now
He can only C&S, which has value, but not if it’s the only thing you can do.
It was good with last years Ivey who had the burst to do a lot more, but if that’s all it is then yeah it’s pretty much whatever
He was a team high -27 this game
Team low?
Ethical tanking
Nice
That’s a trash stat though. It can mean a lot of things. This roster construction is embarrassingly bad. So guys with high usage are gonna look worse.
And they didn’t even get meaningful picks. They just hoarded guards like toilet paper during Covid.
CHI’s front office are opps from BOS or NY, I swear.
Stacey King Absolutely hates Karnisovas/Eversley more than Garpax.
He was angry at Markkanen trade. He was angry at Lavine trade. He was angry at Derozan trade. He is now angry at White trade.
That whole sequence was embarrassing to watch. It’s like watching kids play ball with all those turnovers and back and forth.
Also I know refs never call carrying but come on
Telegraphed that shit 40 ft out, a coach or a vet should help him with that.
Bulls tho…
Bulls finally breaking out of the 41-41 gridlock
That’s some of the worst basketball I’ve ever seen. 3 straight possessions ended with bad turnovers. Then you have Ivey running sideways like Jonathan in Stranger Things
As requested by u/stihckyfingars
bucciarati
Are we just going to leave the shitty pass unclipped, Bucciarati???
Hose that ?
The Goblinon of r/nba
Never heard of that word
Ivey playing drunk or?
He ain’t like that, might be ballin in tongues though
Drunken dodgeball
ahh I see that’s why he was traded for seemingly low value
He’s up for a payday which the pistons didnt wanna give him cause they haven’t really been able to assess him correctly and Daniss Jenkins has been better than him.
His payday is 1⁄10 at this point
Definitely a prove it type deal.
Well he basically lost the burst to get to the rim since cole anthony blindside chop blocked his left leg. There’s no telling if he’ll ever regain it.
Losing his first step kinda destroys his whole bag sadly
He was a bottom 10% finisher at the rim. Genuinely never has had much skill to his game.
Ooof, that means he was bad at the only thing we knew him for
Correcto.
There’s an idea of who he was but that player never really existed.
He’s become Wes Matthews on offense without the Wes Matthews defense.
It looked like he was tryna dime it down court for a cut but the cutter actually stopped mid way lol
Yeah, it looked like he wanted to do a long bounce pass to Yabusele for a cut, but Yabusele’s fat ass wasn’t paying attention and just ran to the corner
Yeah he was waving the dude on the wing to cut, and by the time he did, it was too late. Both are to blame, but Ivey looks worse in this for sure.
Trying out for the globe trotters
More like the washington generals with that one.
Cole destroyed this man’s career
Yakkety sax would be appropriate here.
Benny hill?
I must apologize for Wimp Lo Jaden Ivey… he is an idiot. We have purposely trained him wrong, as a joke.
I have turned it over, making me the victor.
Weeoweoowee
Actually laughed seeing this
even before this hilarious possession, it looks like hes clearly favoring one leg. that kneee injury might have permanently ruined him.
Bulls medical staff will finish the job. I swear Dr. Nick runs that department.
He was running like a wounded animal! Like he’d taken an arrow to the knee or something.
Ivey after his first 2 games w/ CHI:
31.5 MPG, 11.5 PPG, 5 RPG, 4.5 APG, 2.5 SPG, 42.1% FG, 50% 3P (5 3PAPG), 2⁄2 FT
I loved Ivey and have a jersey of his, but I will not miss his anti-basketball IQ. Barely any feel for the game.
I knew he was a great tank commander but he’s outdone himself, genuinely hilarious
absolutely insane play to happen in the NBA
I had recheck the title to see who did the bad pass. Everyone Look’d wooky
Can he not dribble with his left?
No need when your right hand dribble is that omnipotent
I feel terrible for Simons man
Lmaoo bro what
Sorry ant
Oh boy
tried to look the safety off with his eyes. didn’t recognize the coverage, prob thought it was a blitz but they linebacker dropped into coverage. dangerous pass and could’ve been a pick six
Ivey didn’t even have the worst fumble on that clip. There’s 3 straight plays of terrible ball handling.
Ivey is getting scapegoated & I can’t figure out why. The kid is so young & just came back from a rough injury. He’s on a brand new team with 10 guards who don’t fit together at all after being on the best team in the East.
I feel bad for the kid.
True but if you watched him in Detroit this year his attitude was not good, so he kind of earned this. That’s kind of what sealed the deal for him getting shipped. Jenkins came in with an extremely upbeat attitude, while Ivey was moping and looking upset when he didn’t get his minutes.
Yeah, he definitely shared some blame. I just feel bad for him.
Watching too much Olympics & tried the ill-advised shotput pass
Imagine being traded from a top 5 team and then having to deal with this garb.
Looks like highlights from my men’s rec d league
If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball.
Genuinley one of the worst lowlights ive ever seen lmao
NBA is such a terrible product right now
i miss anferno💔
Number 31 is nasty in any sport.
He’s not even giving himself a chance at redemption with that number.
Don’t stare down your pass, you learn that shit when you’re 10
I’m assuming guys weren’t following the set and it through everything off. That pass is insane though
Trade him for a guard
Beast mode
That was hilarious.
That looks like a Terry Rozier Clip. On the take…
WOOOOW
Brain fart
Brought to you by Kalshi
Lmao
NBA players don’t have bad games, we all know that right?!?
Looks like he was playing dodge ball out there
Button got jammed.
I can’t stand when players do the dumbest shit and throw their hands up like it’s their teammates fault!
This entire bulls squad is some of the worse roster construction I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Literally 7 guards who only grew up playing aau ball as a bucket getter. None of them can pass, defend, cut, spacing. Nothing. It’s atrocious.
They were really laughing at the pass it was just bad overall but he did look funny lol I was watching like wtf
Most talented era
Simmons is just as stupid on this play lowkey. He’s looking for him to run because no one is on him and the middle of the court is open. 1 defender for Simmons and the corner 3 and he just JOGS down the court to the 3 point line. Then Ivey throws the dumb pass as the cherry on top. Incredible.
I think he wanted the guy in the corner to cut. He was rearing up to sling a bounce pass. Then the guy on the wing cut into that space and he tried to force it.
Man that stinks. Bummed for the kid. Hope he’s good with the money he made so far.
Dude tried to call a play & his teammate was slow to just do it so he forced the ball into traffic out of frustration.
It looked like a pro dodgeball player going for the kill.
Defense never saw it coming
It wasn’t that horrific a pass, it was going to a player in motion who pulled up, so he tried to pull it back but couldn’t. That’s the disadvantage of one-hand passes.
Bro definitely played 2K with the showtime lakers before this game and tried to be Magic
Is the guy people were so upset Monty would have come off the bench sometimes
He was telling Simons to cut to hit the man in the corner but he was WAYYYY ahead of the play. And then didn’t think to pull it back and run a set.
That was tough
Kings clearly shoulda picked Ivey over Keegan, with moves like this you’ll confuse the opposing team so much you’ll get wide open layups.
I’m very happy with Keegan over Ivey. Glad the debate can be put to rest
“Theres a lot of talent here”….team proceeds to have the worst basketball sequence of the year.
What coming to Chicago does to a fellow.
One of the funniest sequences I’ve seen in the nba lol. Hilarity aside, did he not carry the ball like 6 times?
AKME AKME SMH
