Hoping for no major injury for Murray (damn you injury bug). I really liked Sexton this game, has a lot of energy and seems to really want to buy into the team. Jokic is still a bit rusty imo, his postups are a bit clumsy and can feel a bit weak at times.

Nah he’s right, pistons game wasn’t awful but the turnovers were uncharacteristic, OKC game he didn’t shoot enough and lacked impact, and Knicks game… would’ve been great if he didn’t take a single 3. We hold the MVP to a high standard and he can deliver like tonight and the clippers game.

Jokic has truly become the modern Wilt. Just does the completely anomalous so often that its become mundane, and people have become numb to it almost entirely. I’d ask anyone to go look at Jokic averages this season, combined with efficiency. It is a completely outlandish season, that is generally being brushed off. The impact stats are even more absurd than his basic boxscore (which is obscene). If any single other player in NBA history put up this season it would be hailed as a very strong argument for GOAT regular season, hands down. People also forget he was the ABSOLUTE favorite for MVP when Spencer Jones changed NBA history. He was fresh off the 56-16-15 Christmas game, and was at the top of every MVP ladder and fan vote. Came back, had a rusty 3 games, and was completely written off, excuse me? If Luka had close to Jokic numbers and efficiency he would be the MVP right now, no doubt.
