His handle is one of his best skills. Castle has always had an elite ability to put pressure on the rim and play-make out of that pressure. He basically is always walking his defender towards the rim and he has this crazy ability to walk his defender towards the rim and then finish on two feet. He’s done this since college. Guy is elite at getting by his defender and does it with very little effort.

Oh yeah I just mean as the primary ball handler i dont rate him, I dont think he has the IQ for it but hes a great athlete with his cutting and defence. Still makes a lot of dumb plays most games but thatll smooth out as he matures each year

Harper is an ELITE playmaker (for his age), he’s honestly on a whole other tier than Castle is. Castle will be the long term 2 (which is great because teams usually have a hard time getting a championship-level 2, probably the weakest position in the league right now) and Harper the PG.

VJ wouldn’t be getting 35mpg on the Spurs like he is at Philly, he would be coming off the bench at the Spurs like Harper.

The biggest knock on VJ was that he wasn’t yet comfortable when being asked to generate offense. His best landing spots were places he could play off of someone else.

He was supposed to provide excellent defense, shooting and high energy while slowly sprinkling in the ball handling. He would have fit in just fine
