Difference is the lottery (incentivizes team to really really try to lose to improve their odds) and how deep the nfl draft is compared to the nba.

Sure, sucks to miss a top 3 pick if youre bad/tanking in the nfl, but the 4-10th picks are also expected to be great players. In the nba youre ok with a good role player after the top 3 in average. Cause talent pool is shallow cause you need to be very tall.

NBA players have way more power than most other team sports. 1 superstar can make an insane difference and they tend to flock to each other’s teams to form super teams. Because they can demand trades and force their way out of situations like KD and Harden. Every year.

The only case I can think of for the NFL is Stafford. No other position in that league has the value that could demand a trade to make a super team. Especially over and over.

They were already going above normal levels of tanking in that game and still won lol. Bub, George, Sarr, Champagnie played between 15-22 mins and they ran a 10 man rotation

I think that’s really the thing that annoys me the most. I have kyshawn on my fantasy team (gonna drop him, nbd) and it really does feel like this specifically hampers development. It’s nuts to sit younger players who need reps.
