I remember the Blazers-Warriors Gary Payton II trade, where he had an undisclosed core muscle injury that kept him out almost 2 months. The Warriors sent them 5 2nd round picks and they weren’t allowed to amend it post-deadline, ended up going through with it anyway.

Could be that it’s just announced late. I remember reading that the day before the deadline was more active to allow that renegotiation time.

The Hornets had a pre-deadline move announced after the deadline hit. They don’t seem to be a team that historically gets Shams on the three-way call to report stuff immediately
