the Donte-Ant lineups have generally been very good, but our bench output - especially from guards - has been a nightmare
I’d imagine he’d come off the bench (at least initially).
DiVincenzo has been the starter for pretty much the entire season, so I can’t imagine they’d rock the boat by dropping him to 7th man.
DiVincenzo isn’t a great play creator, but he’s a good ball mover and connective passer. And the Wolves have really tried to lean more into some free flowing sets, so he’s doing his job pretty well. Plus they seem to really value his bombs away attitude, as their spacing in the starting lineup is a bit iffy — Rudy can’t shoot, Randle’s shooting has been shaky, and McDaniels has been shooting great but it still feels a bit like a mirage given his career percentages.
I will say, I’m really excited to see a Dosunmu+DDV+Naz lineup against 2nd units.
Makes sense! Ayo and Donte actually have pretty similar stats this season across the board but it makes sense for him to be a bench sparkplug. I’m excited to see how you guys do with his scoring efficiency, I thought it was a great pickup especially if you can get Conley back.
I’d imagine he’ll slide right into NAW’s role from last year. 7th man who plays mid to high 20 minutes a night.
starting lineup is really clicking with Donte so I don’t think so, but he could definitely close some games when they need more ball handling

Man this is suuuuuuch a good pick up by the Wolves. They’re the team to beat for us in the playoffs if Denver can’t stay healthy.
