Nikola Vucevic will be playing against the Miami Heat tonight for the 4th time this week.

January 29th, January 31st, February 1st, and tonight’s game February 6th, will be the 4th time Vuc has played against the Heat in his last 4 games.

Chicago played Miami 3 games in a row before Nikola was traded. They went 1-2.

Vuc will now suit up against Miami for the 4th time in 8 days, this time in TD Garden as a center for the Boston Celtics.

Edit: He actually didn’t play in the 2nd game of the 3 game “series” Chicago had vs Miami but considering he was on the roster I’m still counting it, lol.

Their whole schedule is odd, they’ve had a lot of instances this year where they’ve played their opponent in consecutive games.

Still have Brooklyn x2, Cleveland x2, and Toronto x2 coming up too.

Figured it could be to minimize travel, but I looked at other “corner of the US” teams like the Blazers and Celtics and it’s not nearly the same as the Heat’s schedule.

We had a condensation issue with the court a few weeks ago during the bad weather and had to reschedule the game. Logistically I guess it makes sense to group them together but it was odd to have a play in mini series in the middle of the season.
