Yes and no.

Luka was shooting 35.4% from three with the mas and upped it to 37.9% with the Lakers last season. DLo, 39% with the Wolves and 41% after the trade to the lakers.

Rui dropped a bit in the season after the trade but since then is well above his career avg. Same with Vincent, after his 1st 11 games he shot well above his career number from three.

Let’s see how Kennard does.

He’s not good. He’ll go out and hustle and put up a lot of shot attempts in a short amount of time but that’s about all he provides

His ball handling is not very good for a point guard. Nate Duncan had a quip about easily getting the ball stolen if he was being defended coming up the court by a player in his own mold. This is his third year with the Bulls and he hasn’t been very good in any of them. He was good his last year in Milwaukee, but he has not been good enough to get on the court much in most of his stops. His last year with Milwaukee and his first year with the Bulls were the only times he broke 1000 minutes in a season. 15 minutes/game for 70 games get you over 1000 minutes.

He’s been more like third string PG for most his career rather than backup.

He was end of bench and didn’t play much for most of the last few seasons. He can shoot, but he’s a short guard and can’t make a layup in traffic (due to height and lack of elite athleticism).

If allowed to, he will absolutely launch 3s though.

he was pretty trash for the bulls. his 3pt was super inconsistent and he’s not really a very good ballhandler, passable at best defender, playmaker. just very little benefit to him playing unless his 3s are hitting. also for a pg his assists per 36 are not good.

In my opinion, plenty of things to bash the Bulls front office for but Carter has been inconsistent at best. Had some random hot streaks but was riding the end of the bench most of the time in Chicago.
