[Highlight] LeBron shows off his bag
I was hoping I’d see this posted. Spends the entire possession trying to recover his dribble lmfao
Brick hands is definitely one of the main parts of aging.
This happens to me every once in a while during league rec ball. I yell, “ball is flat”. It’s not š
My go to is ādead spot in the floorā. Lmao.
Ball don’t lie
His dribbles are too high because You canāt bend your knees after 35 yrs old without popcorn popping.
Man, when I was in my teens and 20s, an injury was just “an inury.” I fuck up an ankle, I walk with a funny limp for a few days… it heals, and I’m good.
In my 30s, an injury was just the beginning. I fuck up an ankle, I walk with a funny limp for a few days, then my opposite knee starts hurting, on account of the limp, then another few days later a hip starts hurting because I’m compensating for both the knee and the ankle. It would all take a solid 2-3 weeks for everything to get back to normal.
Now, in my 40s, “injured” is just my natural state of being. I fuck up my ankle, and walk with a funny limp for a few days, and then my knee and hip and back all take the brunt, but then my elbow also hurts, and I have no fucking idea why. None of this can heal in the amount of time it’ll take for another mystery thing to come out of nowhere for reasons I can’t discern.
Even though this clip of him looking old and uncoordinated is in fact genuinely funny, it’s also genuinely impressive that he can even do THAT, against other professional athletes, in his 40s.
I injured my heel and my hip has never been the same since because my fucking leg wont stop overcompensating the way i walk. Literally went to PT for this shit and i still cant run without aggravating my hip
I used to sprain my ankles on the regular playing sports. Like 3 months ago I sprained my ankle and I just recovered. I really thought it was a joke how long it takes to recover
damn my knees have been popping since i was a teen
Idk if age is the issue, he’s never been the best dribbler really
Itās just one of those plays where you just have to pass the ball to your team mate and stay out of the way.
Lebron is gonna end up on Shaqtinā a fool after that
He’s never had a great handle but it’s been pretty loose this year. Never seen him fumble and lose his dribble so much before this year
he just old all your skills slow down
He shouldn’t be playing if he can’t down simple dribbles.
You right theyād better release him
I agree the Lakers could get 4-5 less TO per game.
Dude has the same TOV% as Luka and isnāt much higher than league average while being way higher than league average in Usage.
Geriatric washed up Lebron James has a 6.7⁄2.9 AST/TOV ratio while prime Anthony Edwards is at 3.7⁄2.7 AST/TOV ratio. That is honestly sad that this version of Lebron is still light years ahead of Ant as a playmaker
This sub never gets old
Seriously he should honestly consider returning the lakers his money. In fact pay me back as well.
Yeah his 22-6-7 should fuck off
You left out 8 turnovers. AR played 12 less minutes and still manage to outscore the dude on the same FGAs.
Reaves has more turnovers per game with less assists. But keep going. How far down the Lakers roster before you think LeBron is better than that player?
You know, technically Alex Len has less career turnovers than LeBron…
Huh?? LeBronās always had a great handle for his size. Not good dribbling crossover mechanics but his handle is his ability to keep control with minimal dribbles and just going into the lane, this was just way too much dribbling for him lol.
Crazy take, LeBron’s one of the greatest ball handlers ever, especially impressive for his size. It’s not flashy but he gets to anywhere he wants
Id say his handle is just a bit better compared to other great slashers. He dribbles like literally everyone else and its not like he doesnt get turnovers either so I’m not sure how you could say that hes one of the best ball handlers ever, but I’d love to hear the arguments. He basically worse than Jordan in every single way when it comes to ball handling, footwork and mechanics and I dont see MJ among the best ball handlers its always the flashy guards like Kyrie Curry and Iverson or just PG’s that dont commit turnovers like CP
Young Jordan had great handles. Not Kyrie or Iverson, but definitely a tier below.
one of my favorite all time Bron plays was that behind the back dribble through Tristan Thompson’s legs for the layup back in 2018 i think
What are you people smoking.
He need Phil handy back š
He also had multiple real bad passes where he looked like he had tunnel visions.
I just know Skip Bayless would save this post if he saw it.
Bold of you to assume that OP isn’t Skip Bayless
skip burner
Iām sure itās the only clip of the game heāll see
He saved it in his spank bank.
He’s having an all time ROUGH game rn. Literally can’t get any rhythm or any of his shots to fall. It’s really ugly and I say this as a big Bron fan.
Someone needs to tell him to take a damn game off. I appreciate that heās been trying to hold it down while Austin has been gone, and itās pretty impressive how many games heās played since coming back at his age, but he is still 41. I mean, he really wasnāt supposed to play as many minutes as he has been, but it turns out the rest of the team is ass and we canāt keep him on the bench. But the man has sciatica and arthritis, he needs to take a nap
Whatās crazy is we donāt win the game without him even tho he was awful. He created a ton of open looks because the Sixers were being overly aggressive and helping on him
Yeah, people are going to pretend like heās washed, but it was just a normal bad game. He still contributed, especially towards the end with those fast break dunks
It was an awful game for him in the first three quarters. He was mostly great in the fourth.. Other than this monstrosity of a possession
Curry does this every few games and yall say nothing. 41 y/o Lebron has an ugly game once every 15 games and yall lie your mind
Iām not saying heās washed or anything, but I think he is more effective when he can get some rest every once in a while. I remember he had a bad stretch of games last season, and he had game or two off and came back looking refreshed. Thatās all Iām saying, and I donāt want him to get injured again
Team is just too bad for that, we saw what happened when Luka was out and LeBron rested b2bs, they had Reaves play both back to backs, tired out til he got injured. Then Reaves out, Luka did the same playing through injuries and now he’s out.
They have to rest all of them together for a games and give it up or else having one play, just gets them blitz’d and doubled for 35 mins for loss.
Bro needs to learn how to dribble lol
This is how I dribble in my dreams
LeDribble
DribbLe
LOL
This is like the only season where I feel like LeBron is declining. He’s still an amazing player but it’s visible now that he’s not dominant
People saying this sound so disrespectful. You havenāt noticed a decline before? You think LeBron last season was as good a player he was in Miami or Cleveland?
people saying this are highlight watchers. They see a Lebron highlight and assume that level of play persists the entire game. People who have watched through the years, see the active decisions hes making to allow himself to stay on the court and enable those moments, and have seen the steady slope downwards in his activity. Which i very much consider to be a testament to him and his good decision making skills to protect his body.
2020 was the first year i started to see decline and he literally almost won mvp.
This year is a bit different. Last year he was slowing down but always ended up with great production.
This year itās like you can visibly see it and when you look at the stat sheet it shows. Itās a bit heartbreaking, but god damn it he deserves to play the game his way for as long as he wants.
Noticed from season to season is what I understood them to mean. Obviously heās declined but maybe not noticeable one year to the next
It had to happen eventually but man itās hard to see. His dominance comes in spurts now and those spurts are much less common and lower quality on defense.
the last time he made an all defense was 2013-14. he’s been declining on defense for over a decade, but this is the first year it’s significant on offense
Itās the year his overall skills are finally starting to decline. The mental part is still (mostly) there, but he physically isnāt LeBron anymore
Which is crazy because I just watched him slap the middle of the backboard on that chase down attempt
I would argue the mental part is declining too.
huge disagree. If anything his mental game is why hes still able to be on the court at all. almost anyone in Lebron’s body would not adjust to age properly, and you wouldn’t see the “lazy Lebron”. However, they would for sure just injure themselves because they arent 28 anymore, and they failed to properly adjust their playstyle.
Lazy Lebron is literally what is enabling him to be on the court, hes picking his spots and has been picking his spots for quite a few years, which is why its also crazy people in this thread are claiming this is the first year they’ve noticed a decline, the minutes are still up, but the ACTUAL athletic lebron minutes, have been crazy down, by his own decision making.
athletic decline has been a bit more apparent this year in his moments, and thats maybe the reason people are saying hes declining. the last two years its seemed like hes been more of a “while in motion there is no stopping” and I think thats by design as well, he was always considered a bit of a freight train at least in transition, but now it feels like hes actively deciding NOT to stop in the half court as well, in order to not hurt himself with the sudden change of direction.
I am basing the mental decline more on how he appears to act during some games, joking a lot and not super invested in the game all the time. I feel like he has kind of given up on getting another ring in his career and is kind of just enjoying the moment mostly waiting to go for a retirement tour next year.
It’s a long ass season, and its probably unlikely they capture the 1-2 seed…
Which means they are likely to just land somewhere in that 3-6 area, and im sure they would like to select WHO they face in the first round out of the nuggets rockets wolves, but its all so close it feels almost irrelevant right now.
I don’t think being ultra competitive in February givin the circumstances is a good idea at all given those circumstances and his age.
Thats not what mental decline means…
He’s never been an elite dribbler though.
You don’t have to be an elite dribbler for someone of Lebron’s ability to get by embid. It’s cause he’s old now and his first step isn’t as fast as he used to be.
That doesn’t explain why he can’t dribble the ball though.
Youāve never been so tired you could barely dribble up and down the court?
Watch him come back stronger next year to defy all expectationsā¦again!
It was visible the last couple years. He can still put up nice stats but he doesnāt affect the game the same way anymore.
Might be the funniest thing I’ve seen in this very funny game
How is LeBron the All Star while AR is going to watch it from home?
His block attempt thoughā¦š³ he still got a piece of it
everyone here is like “haha lebron old just like me!” and ignoring he jumped like eye-level with the rim on that chasedown.
This mf just touched damn near the top of the backboard at 50 years old
He rage swatted that shit out of the air
I counted about 5 fumbles there lmao
[deleted]
reaves lol
Austin Reaves he’s the only consistent guy right now Lebron and Luka were bricking all night with more than 5TOs.
30pts by Reaves in 19mins of play
Surprisingly, defense.
Reaves
Are you allowed to dribble like that in the NBA? Itās been a while since Iāve played basketball but that seems like egregious textbook carrying.
Wouldāve saved him the embarrassment
LMFAO
Reminds me of when the Monstars took the NBA players talent in Space Jam
This is your all star? š¤¦
His handle was rough all game.. couldn’t control the ball for shit
why would darvin ham do this
Got the ball on a silly string
This was horrible. Why don’t he pass the ball? It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
Watch the game
LeBagless
LeAlzheimers
Traveling and Carry had been so lenient because of him. Changed the rules cause of him.
i thought he was having a stroke
LeBron haters are a different breed I swear
What do LeBron haters have to do with this clip of him losing the ball lol? They broke his concentration?
Heāll be out with sciatica next game
He is just like me in rec park.
LeButterfingers
Sometimes, you just need to pass the ball
locked up on the perimeter by 2026 Embiid is crazy lmaooo
Lmao
Never had any real skills, just ran over people
I had to do a double take that this is not r/nbacirclejerk
Woah woah woah, I thought this was a SFW sub Ā
Have to mark this NSFW
LeOld
Lol damnĀ
This isn’t even the whole play. Lost the ball once and never recovered. Shaqtin of the year candidate.
This was hilarious
Best 40 years old player ever to lose his handles like that, truly the GOAT
Lmaooo the great one showing he’s really 41 out there
Commentators laughing at bro hn they never did this shit to Mike šāļø
Unc needs to let it go. What else does Bron need to prove outside being a gm?
He got up high on the chase down. I didnāt think he had that still
LeUnc
LeFumble
LeWash
An yes, the king of turnovers
Go Clippers.
Yeah he looks 40 time to hang it up lol
Bagās empty today, boss.
He was so bad for a majority of this game that I legitimately wondered if he gave up because we didnāt do much at the deadline
What a tight end looks like playing basketball
Year 23!
Or whatever shit I see posted every time he dunks the ball.
He and Luka trying so hard to lose this game
Can I get a timestamp for LeBronās ballsack?
LeDuality
I guffawed when I saw this one.
Pause
That MFer Maxey is fast as hell when he gets the ball.
He still has the run and dunk, the rest is starting to go with the hair line.
Legendary
LeCoinpurse
He should have done the pre game routine where he yeet the ball into the stands .
Doing his best Brandin Podziemski impression
Lebron losing his handle is a tough watch
Aw, man, I thought it was going to be a murse walking into the stadium
Why does he look like me when trying to play basketball? For reference I play a sport that requires your feet + ball not hand+ball.
Looks like me when Iām dribbling š
When you realize that’s Joel Embiid guarding him and still…
Thy build you up to tear you down.
It’s time LeBron. It’s time.
There is a reason he’s the all time leader in turnovers.
Most minutes played and usage in NBA history ?
LeBron knows that Joel is a great foul merchant as he is and knows all the tricks. He tried something new and did not go too well
Superb title
This is a lowlight.
This was going one of 3 ways:
Age appropriate.
And he’s only 41 years old!!! /s
It’s took a while but it’s kinda sad (ironic as a celtic fan) to finally see father time beat Lebron. All these years of memeing that LePrime is never ending, it hits different to finally see LeDecline.
I rebuke this post.
80% of the time he turn the ball over, you can guarantee he gonna chasedown block that shot. LeDeem
Who won this game? Haters bwahaha
He should stop dribbling and start talking about politics.
BuT hEās StIlL dOiNg ThIs At 40!
Show the play where he does one of his patented turnover on an inbound pass late in the game to keep the other team in it! š„“
Lebrons not known for handles, he needs screens. Thats why ppl donāt say he can beat all time greats in one on one.
Probably not at age 41
He’s chasing a highlight. He’s a š¤”
man cmon i was actually hoping to see a bron highlight
I’d honestly recommend him to start thinking about a quiet retirement in the next couple seasons? As players start nearing the end of their primes, we can often see some drop in play. Sure he hasn’t been in the league very long, but with how the game is played these days it’ll be a surprise if these younger guy’s will even be able to keep their bodies intact to fully appreciate their primes. I mean, hopefully Bron will recover from this slump and continue developing like hes been the past 23 or so years, but only time will tell for the young fella.
He has a good game in Reddit goes nuts, but heās been doing crap like this quite often with the Lakers. Dude couldnāt shoot or dribble the entire game to save his life. The Sixers pressure was exposing his bad. To be fair, Luka wasnāt handling it super well either. It really was Austin that started breaking it down.
Didnāt he score 10 points in the 4th qt?
Lmao he blows
is this your goat? LeSad honestly
These types of efforts makes me think I could play in NBA, like if he getting \(50m for that - I could easily dribble and turn over like that and not even want \)50m
I’ll never understand why somebody who plays the game so ugly has everyone want to represent the sport of basketball. Lol.
I always use this successfully in GOAT debates. If a random kid who knows nothing about basketball approaches you and asks you to inspire him/her using ONE player, just ONE player.
Catch is that if you’re unsuccessful, he or she would never like basketball ever again, who would you pick? Even Bronsxuals would pick MJ.
let’s just disregard all his past achievements and watch this one particular lowlight where he is btw 41 years old to convince everyone that “ he plays the game so ugly”
LeBron is still an all-star 10,000+ minutes past when your favorite player ever was long into retirement, cope and seethe
Depending on the age of the kid I might pick Karl Malone, he had a gift for reaching kids.
“I always use this successfully in GOAT debates” š¤£š¤£š¤£
LeBron has played AWFULLY this game and still has 13⁄10, lmao. Meanwhile MJ was washed and a half a year younger than this. Oh wait, you guys pretend his Wizard years don’t exist, I forgot.
Its whack that the bozos discredit LeBron rn and MJ on the wizards. MJ on the Wizards was playing at an all nba level at 39-40 untill his knee exploded.
IMO Mj LeBron and Karl Malone (fuck that guy) are the top 3 in logevity and producing way longer than you were supposed to. Curry is sneaking up to the list as well if the fuckery goes on.
