He’s still my favorite player ever, but it made it clear there’s things he’s unwilling to do, he wants to play a certain style and I don’t think it suits him. I remember watching a preseason game and they ran the pick and roll 2 plays in a row, one leading to an easy midrange jumper and another to an easy Giannis dunk, and I thought, “we’re going back to the finals!!”. Didn’t see them play like that the next two seasons…

I mean, no team is going to have great picks if they get Giannis. But the Heat are currently a 7th seed (from 10th a few days ago) in an extremely weak East while the Wolves are a 5 seed in a strong west. I’d imagine Giannis would make less of an impact on the Heat’s draft pick than he would on the Wolve’s.

Unless you’re trading Giannis to the Kings or Pacers, you aren’t getting good picks.

I think it’s tough to trust that the bucks FI will play their cards right in building a team around Giannis at this point. They’ve swung and missed enough times that they don’t have much more to work with.
