I agree with you, I think Sabonis gets flamed too hard. I honestly think he’d flourish more if he had the right PG to pair with him. Keegan Murray is a solid partner for him, but LaVine and DeRozan are not helpful and Westbrook isn’t a guy who wins you games long term. Unfortunately I don’t know how you really fix that quickly, and the Kings really blew it by losing both Fox and Hali.

I think Sabonis leaving or not heavily depends on where the Kings land in the draft. If they land Petersen or AJ, I’m sure they’ll keep Sabonis long term. If they land Boozer especially, I think Sabonis is gone in the offseason.

Also depends on how well CMB develops for Toronto, dude lowkey has Sabonis skillset and size so could make acquiring him redundant.
