Keon Ellis may not be the only Kings player on the move. Sacramento has not had much success generating interest in veteran wings Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan is a strong candidate to be bought out after the deadline while the Kings will likely try again to move LaVine in the offseason.

I still believe that the Clippers swapping Norm Powell was the right move. John Collins fit a position of need and it was a safe bet that a bought-out Bradley Beal could replicate the production. It’s just a shame that Beal got injured. He was definitely going to have the come off the bench regardless though, Dunn just made too much sense as a defense guy in the starting lineup.

I wouldn’t buy him out. I’d just send him home. What’s the point in saving $1-2M? Better to pretend like you’re holding firm on getting some sort of value for him back. Or just keep him around because he helps the tank. He’s a net negative player, nothing wrong with letting him help the tank – it’s not like he’s blocking any young, promising players. And he’s never been reported as a locker room problem.

DeRozan is an underrated playmaker and gives them another ballhandler now that Conley is gone. Wolves have the defensive personnel to cover for him.

The only problem would be that Randle/DeRozan is a weird fit and Wolves also seem to be in the Giannis market.
